“You cannot do that right now, when the beta comes back up loot boxes are only rewarded based off of game and player level,” he replied. “But we’ve had this system in for about two months internally, and it’s something that a lot of us really want is the ability to purchase additional loot boxes. So we’re definitely exploring if that’s a system we can pursue, and there’s a lot of interest around it. It’s definitely something we’d like to do.”Envanterinizdeki kullanmad???n?z skin'lerden bir ?ekilde faydalanmak ve daha ?nce sahip olamad?klar?n?z? almak istiyorsan?z, Kinguin'den size harika bir haber var!Another comment in that same thread claims that, after the ban, Flex admitted to having used cheats on ESEA servers for the past week, and that he did it to stop himself from playing the game. The third is having an engaged server admin community and giving them the tools to be the third line of defense. “That's a huge thing for us,” Gibson said. “Hackers come in, it's obvious fairly quickly that they're hacking, the server admin bans them from the server and problem solved.”They’re all excellent keyboards, and crowd favorites, but only one can take home the title. Two new campaigns are available: the Wildfire Campaign, made up of Casual, Deathmatch and Arms Race missions, and the co-op Gemini Campaign which packs three all-new Co-op Strike missions and 23 Guardian missions. Both campaigns reward mission XP with each success, and by completing Challenge Missions you can upgrade your flashy Wildfire Coin, shown off alongside your avatar.Co-founder and CMO, Dawid Rozek said that this development came about because of their recent birthday celebrations when guests expressed a keen interest in seeing a library selection of skins for their games. He added: "We had to create a response to the interests of hard core gamers who like variety."
It's not a common occurrence that Valve takes action against mods to its games, but that's exactly what's happening with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In fact, they're basically whipping out the ban hammer for folks who create servers that allow players to use custom skins for their various weapons."We cannot properly express our excitement for this opportunity to represent compLexity," Chowdhury said. "Shoutout to Jason Lake and Jason Bass for believing in us and making it possible for us to live out our passion. I speak for everybody on the team when I say it’s good to be home.”Mortal Kombat X moves the timeline forward 25 years, giving the game the opportunity to show older versions of existing fighters as well as some of their kids. This translates into 24 playable characters, with a decent split between existing combatants and new ones. Returning characters include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Kenshi, a gray-haired Liu Kang, Raiden, and more. Eight characters are new, with four falling on the bad guy end of the spectrum and four humans that descend from "old" fighters. Those four also figure heavily into the game's storyline as Cassie Cage, the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, teams up with Jax's daughter Jacqui, Kenshi's son Takeda, and a descendant of Kung Lao named Kung Jin to basically save all the realms from Mortal Kombat 4's end boss, Shinnok, and his right-hand man, Quan ChiThe story mode uses the same structure as Mortal Kombat 9 and Injustice: Gods Among Us, slotting characters into chapters and having you go through a few fights with them before moving on. It's a decent way to get exposed to the different characters, but the story itself is all over the place. It starts a couple of years after the events of the previous game, then jumps ahead 25 years, but then a lot of the characters keep having flashbacks to events that happened five years before that. Some of the old fighters (including some who, annoyingly, aren't playable here) have become evil "revenants" that fight alongside Quan Chi, and keeping track of who is on what side in each part of the timeline is a chore. It all wraps up a little too quickly, too, with the four Kombat Kidz traipsing into just the right place at just the right time a few too many times for my tastes. On top of that, while the game still impressively transitions into and out of fights and its nice-looking cutscenes, a handful of Quick Time Events have been added to the proceedings, distracting from the storytelling a bit as you stare near the bottom of the screen just in case this cutscene happens to be one that contains a few lame button presses. While the lead characters, their backgrounds, and their motivations are far, far better here than they were in the games that came after Mortal Kombat 3 in the pre-reboot timeline, I still found the story to be a little disappointing, overall. The action in MKX builds off of the systems and mechanics of both the previous game and, to some extent, Injustice: Gods Among Us. The buttons, basic fighting, and concepts of a three-part super meter, combo breakers, X-rays, and EX versions of special moves are all pretty much intact, though now you can EX your throws, which cancels the throw and leaves the enemy standing there, ready for another set of attacks as long as you're quick about it. You can also execute a block breaker, which works similarly to the combo breakers but pushes an enemy back while you're blocking instead of when you're taking hits. The fighting feels faster and more fluid than the previous game, but some of the more basic juggle combos feel like they're a little easier to land, too. This year's Insomnia festival, the i47, will make the shift from Counter-Strike: Source to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Signups to the tournament have already begun. The film is created by Joel Dale and another unnamed partner, and he went looking for interviews with players who wish to share their experiences.
Peripheral manufacturer Hori, known of its arcade sticks and other console accessories, is working on a keypad and mouse set for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The set is called Tactical Assault Commander 4 and it’s aimed at first-person-shooter players. It's becoming a common refrain from Valve, but perhaps the latest uproar will prevent drastic changes from appearing out of the blue in future. In early 2015, Valve suspended a number of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players after it came to light that they'd been involved in fixing matches and betting on the outcomes. A handful of them were ruled ineligible to compete at ESL One Katowice 2015, but at least 21 (including the seven who were banned in January) were given indefinite suspensions that Valve said would not be reviewed until 2016. Now that 2016 is here, a final ruling has been issued, and it's not happy news for the players involved. It's that time of the year when popular PC game digital distribution platform Steam has its much awaited winter sale. In earlier years the community would vote on which games got discounts, and it also had quirky metagames that would let you flesh out your Steam card collection. Without those shenanigans, this year has been a relatively quiet affair (unless of course, you're a Steam Sale Detective). But apart from that, this year the Steam winter sale doesn't have the best Steam deals either.
Competitive Counter-Strike continues to draw a healthy amount of spectators as Valve's FPS has grown significantly since the end of 2013. Following Katowice earlier this year, the ESL Championship begins 3 AM Eastern on Thursday, the first matches of ESL One Cologne 2014 will kick off in Germany, culminating in a final match on Sunday. There's no consensus among the competitive community about which screen resolution is the best. Lots of players look towards the “pros” using ancient 4:3 resolutions such as 800x600 for guidance. However, there is no singular advantage provided by using 4:3 resolutions. Some hardcore players use these resolutions because they were optimal in the 1.6 era and allowed legacy CRTs to hit higher refresh rates, and pros are generally change-averse.“It really is a grey area,” said Tomas “Morte” Kerbush, a professional gamer who plays Battlefield 4, another popular first person shooter. His team-mate Erik “2-Easy” Van Hoorn was more explicit: “Underage kids are betting and there is no way to control it.” Valve's ongoing investigation into pro-level Counter-Strike: Global Offensive match fixing has resulted in the suspension of another 19 players from its sponsored events. The ban means that three teams—Epsilon eSports, the former ESC Gaming, and WinneR—will not be eligible to compete in the offline qualifier for the upcoming ESL One Katowice 2015.
The claims come from the Global Offensive community on Reddit, where estimates put the number of banned cheaters at around 1,600 - and that's a conservative guess. That's a lot of banhammers dropping through the Valve Anti-Cheat System.
The single best way to increase your FPS is to drop your resolution, so let's dig into CS:GO's graphics settingsAs more developers consider real-money transactions and user-driven marketplaces, virtual "gunrunners" have already been cutting deals inside and outside Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's official channels.
